Where can I find my VIN?
Look at the lower driver-side corner of the windshield, the driver-side door label, or your title and registration. Compare the paperwork with the number on the vehicle.
Is this a vehicle history report?
No. This tool retrieves manufacturer specifications. It does not check accidents, ownership, liens, mileage, theft or title status.
Does decoding replace a DMV VIN verification?
No. Online decoding does not inspect your vehicle or complete a REG 31. If you need physical verification for registration, book an appointment with our mobile service.
Can I decode a classic or imported vehicle?
This tool accepts standard 17-character VINs, generally used for model year 1981 onward. Older vehicles and some imports may have limited or unavailable data. Contact us to discuss your verification needs.
